Energy Medicine Tips to Manage
the Effects of Chemotherapy                                                          

In addition to acupuncture there are other energy medicine techniques to help with the effects of chemotherapy.  One of the most beneficial methods is the Brazilian Toe Technique. This was created by a Brazilian named Jose De Aragao and later presented at a Touch for Health International Convention in 1980. It involves holding different toes in specific order with a light touch. Along with decreasing nausea for chemotherapy patients,  the Brazilian Toe is very  useful for balancing polarities, calming the nervous system,  reducing pain, swelling and insomnia.   

However, if you don’t have time for the Brazilian Toe Technique, here are a few other quick energy medicine tips for nausea resulting from chemotherapy:

1. The Hook Up: Place one middle finger in navel and the other at the third eye.  Lift up and Inhale, pull up and hold.  Repeat 3-4 times.
