Melanie Smith has become recognized as one of the most powerful Energy Medicine teachers of our time. She teaches Energy Medicine for Healthy Living™ Workshops throughout the country empowering people to become their own best healers by teaching them energy medicine techniques to improve their lives. She is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture Physician, Certified Eden Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner, Authorized Energy Medicine for Women Class Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, teacher and national speaker. Dr. Melanie is also a Senior Faculty member for Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine Certification Program, (EEMCP) in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2011, the students voted her EEMCP Teacher of the Year. In 2012 and 2013, Dr. Melanie will be teaching in Surrey, England for the Eden Energy Medicine European Foundations Program.
Melanie is co-author of Energy Medicine: Your Personal Health and Wellness System for Today, author of Energy Medicine For Healthy Living™ Charts and is featured in seventeen Energy Medicine for Healthy Living™ DVD’s where she teaches audiences the healing power of the their body’s own energy system. Her most recent healing methods include Harmonize the Fire and Clearing and Manifesting Energies.
Her path to Energy Medicine occurred after a serious injury in August, 1994. Like many others, she tried the western medical system to heal her injury. On two occasions she nearly died while hospitalized. It was through alternative medicine that Melanie fully recovered. She knew at the time the injury was a “gift” as it inspired her to learn, grow and heal herself and ultimately help others to heal.
Since that time her passion has been to help others transform their lives through the power of energy medicine. She created Energy Medicine For Healthy Living™ resources to make it possible for individuals to learn energy medicine. Dr. Melanie has treated thousands of patients in her Acupuncture and Energy Medicine practice, Well Within Natural Medicine, Inc. located in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has gained a reputation for being able to help people heal complex health issues using Energy Medicine for Healthy Living™ techniques where she combines a unique fusion of acupuncture, sound healing, oriental medicine, energy medicine, energy psychology, nutrition, therapeutic massage and bodywork.
Dr. Melanie is a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, American Assoication of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Florida State Oriental Medical Association, Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program Alumni, East West College of Natural Medicine Alumni Association and International Association of Moxy Women.
