Energy Medicine for Heart Health and Staying Physically Fit

“Good” Fats vs. “Bad” Fats

Over the years I have worked with a lot of women who have been diagnosed with heart disease and one thing I often hear is that because they exercise and are thin, they never thought they would have heart problems. It was never on their radar, so to speak. It is a common myth that heart disease does not affect women who are physically fit or thin. The truth is people who consistently exercise can still be impacted by heart disease, but that does not mean you should stop exercising . . . it does mean it’s important to learn the truth about Heart Health for Women. One quick tip is understanding the difference between “good” fats and “bad” fats. A fat-free diet is NOT the solution and can cause even more problems. Saturated and trans fats are not good for your body, but monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats are actually good for you. Salmon, mackerel, and trout, as well as, avocados, olives, almonds and coconut oil are some examples of “good fats.”

Food is just one small aspect of understanding the Energetics of the Heart. There is so much more we can do as women to shift the energetic patterns of our heart to promote health and wellness.
